This paper gives an improvement on the state-of-the-art magic state distillation algorithms, using a procedure whereby a T-state factory takes in one T-state and a CCZ-state to output two T-states.
While at the time this was the most efficient T-gate factory, there have since been improvements in the literature:

The reason that this paper is nice is because it has a lot of very nice examples of surface-code diagrams. These iconic blocky spacetime diagrams are very important and are quite useful in the literature, and this is a good paper to get pictures of them.
