This paper discusses the topological entanglement entropy of the toric code with e/m twist defects. They show that the toric code + twist defect model has the exact same quantum dimensions and topological entanglement entropies as the Ising anyon model.

It was already known that twist defects in the toric code behave like Ising anyons. This paper serves as an extra piece of data in that analogy, and as a potential experiment that one could perform in the lab to "prove" the existence of non-abelian quasiparticles in the system.
